Portland Timbers Themed Areas

Both Widmer and Budweiser are the official beers of the Portland Timbers. Both brands ensured they were represented inside the venue with marque real estate. Each brand has a themed area inside Jeld Wen Field showcasing their corporate sponsorship. These themed areas ensure sampling opportunities for the brands.

Oh and by the way, Timber fans sure love to consume both Widmer and Budweiser at Jeld Wen. Compared to their rivals up i5 (Seattle Sounders) which pack Century Link field with an average of 37,000 fans a game, the Timber average 18,000 Timbers Army fans and still sell 85% of the volume at a Sounders game. STRONG!

It is highly unusual for most to identify a craft beer as a major sports property partner. The Pacific Northwest and CBA (Craft Brewers alliance) buck the trend with corporate sponsorships with the Timbers and University of Washington Huskies. The Huskies are sponsored by the Redhook brand.
