Corona partners with sneaker company for limited edition line

In trying their best to align with pop culture, Corona Extra partnered with Supra shoes to release a limited offering shoe. The brands identity was maintained with the custom shoe design. I applaud the strategic thinking to develop with grass root activation plan.

Recently, custom shoes have been making noise. Commander and Chief, President Barack Obama was seen in public with a custom pair of Under Armour sneakers with the presidential seal embroidered on the tongue.

In targeting trendsetters and aspirers, Corona found an exceptional way to make a relevant connection with their consumers.  These shoes are sure to resonate with the demo and literally leave a footprint behind. This surely is a higher end point of connection material consumers will take home and cherish. Not sure if many will chose to wear the shoe in public.
