Corona celebrates 1,000,000 Facebook fans

Brands are quickly realizing the importance of this social media channel and rapidly generating content and/or applications to draw in consumers. A major milestone worth distributing is when a brand surpasses a certain number of fans.

Corona celebrated reaching 1,000,000 facebook fans by producing a video of thanks. The brand used 30,000 Corona bottle caps strategically placed to construct a “Thanks a million” message. The video details the individual placing of each bottle cap to form the special message.This simple, yet powerful video generates positive feelings with their community of fans. The Corona video also sheds light on the unfolding stories which the brand wants consumers to enjoy and interact with.

Brand owned viral videos demonstrate the realization that a consumers worth is more than a single purchase or impression.
